We get it. We've searched for the perfect shine products, too. It was only after researching what really changes with our hair that we understood why conventional shine products weren't giving us the promised results. 

We set about making Shine & Define to work specifically with silver, gray and white hair.

Water insoluble silicones - the industry standard ingredient for 'shine' - coats hair in a plasticy coat that takes up to 5 washes to remove - dulling our shine along the way. 

The clarifying shampoos needed to remove the buildup further strip the oils from our already moisture-challenged hair.

The ingredients in Shine & Define have been carefully selected to not only be effective and conditioning, but are silver-safe. 

No tint. No silicones. No dulling silicone buildup.

Roughened cuticles due to dry and damaged hair has the effect of scattering light instead of reflecting it evenly. That's what makes our hair look 'dull'. 

Shine & Define works on two fronts:

  • Penetrating conditioning oils: Caprylic/capric triglycerides absorb into the cuticle to condition within, while jojoba oil replenishes lubrication for softer, more flexible hair
  • Surface-smoothing emollients: VEGELIGHT™ provides lightweight slip, while specialized emollients and polymers reduce friction, tame flyaways and even out the cuticle for better light reflection

More isn't always more.  

Shine & Define is a non-greasy feather-light and powerful finishing oil that can be used on all hair types.   It adds remarkable sparkle and shine and smooths flyaways without leaving hair heavy or stiff.

It can be used two ways:

As a nourishing balm

  • Start with 1–2 pumps through the lengths and ends, on towel-dried hair

As a finishing swipe

  • Start with a single pump warmed in your palms then finger-comb through finished hair, pinch into thirsty ends
